This blog will give you 5 Reasons to see a counsellor that are not necessarily ‘big problems’. Our wold today is fast-paced, brimmed to the top with responsibilities that can become overwhelming and our mental health can sometimes take a back seat as we cannot afford to stop for many reasons. However, seeking support through therapy with a counsellor is not just for those moments when we experience severe distress, when our anxiety is running high or when we experience trauma. Counselling can be a valuable source for anyone, regardless of their current life circumstances.
1. Preventative care: just as we visit the doctor, looking after our mental health through counselling could also be part of our routine.
