Just like you, I often felt lost. I perceived myself different to others. What’s more, I was often overwhelmed and struggled to form lasting friendships. In my adult life, I often felt misunderstood, irritable and struggled to make decisions. Regardless of my feelings, I would push on and end up burnt out. As a consequence, I lost myself and my creative spark. I looked in many places for answers, for purpose, for a why, but never found one.

After yet another burnout, I tried online counselling and psychotherapy. I learnt it is a superpower to be a highly sensitive person in a fast paced world and I also discovered how to use my creativity as a tool to learn about myself and to make sense of the world. It was a place where I was allowed to be fully me, to find my own way of telling my story, in my own time.
